‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah about expecting her letter and finally receiving it, about her eye pain, how he misses her, and how he cannot continue without her. He then talks about a dispute between Salar and the family of a Mujahid [fighter], and also the possible governance of Turbat by Salar. He asks Surur not to mention these to anyone as these are governmental secrets.

Sahib Khanum (from Tuysirkan) talks about her husband, Iʻzam al-Mamalik (from Tuysirkan), being forced to go to Hamadan and then Tehran because of the animosity of the princes from Tuysirkan, and their pillage and plunder, and their appointing Jaʻfar Quli Mirza as the Governor of Tuysirkan regardless of the consequences. She mentiones that her son, ʻAlikhan, along with seven more men, was murdered, and asks ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma for justice.

‘Aziz Aqa, a female entertainer, purchased a six-shooter carrier after the brothers of her divorced husband, Sayyid Hasan from Ganjah, had threatened to kill her. She was arrested for carrying the gun on her way to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
